{"id":379,"date":"2011-09-26T07:26:48","date_gmt":"2011-09-26T11:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.bmbs.org\/?p=379"},"modified":"2011-09-26T07:27:30","modified_gmt":"2011-09-26T11:27:30","slug":"getting-help-from-one-place-or-other","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.bmbs.org\/?p=379","title":{"rendered":"Getting help &#8230; from one place or other"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Baylor University survey found that people who strongly believe in an engaged God who &#8220;has a plan for me&#8221; were much more likely to agree that &#8220;the government does too much&#8221; and that &#8220;able-bodied people who are out of work shouldn\u2019t receive unemployment checks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to a summary in the <em>Christian Science Monitor<\/em>, such people tended to earn less and be less educated than those who don\u2019t believe God has a plan for them.
